Hey y’all — I’m Laura.

I’ve lived a life shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a deep love for creating things that matter. I’m someone who builds — businesses, communities, stories — and also someone who values quiet, presence, and ease just as much as momentum.

I’m a serial entrepreneur and licensed real estate broker, and I continue to work in real estate while running multiple ventures rooted in place, people, and purpose. I’m also the founder of LaLa’s Circle of Love, a nonprofit devoted to service, storytelling, and heart-centered giving, and the creator and host of The Love Lounge Podcast, where conversation and lived experience meet.

Writing has always been part of my through-line. I’m the author of several books, and I’m currently preparing for the release of Raised by Fire (launching November 2026), a deeply personal work exploring what it means to move from survival into ease. That work — and its own dedicated home — will go much deeper into those themes. This space is where everything connects.

Beyond the work, I'm a 7 time marathon finisher, prepping for my 8th this November in NYC. I’m a devoted animal lover and spend much of my life with my dogs, Daisy Grace and Jasmine, who keep me grounded in the simplest and truest rhythms of care, presence, and joy. I divide my time between New York, Kentucky, and California, guided by the places and people that feel like home.

This site is an invitation to see the full picture — not just one chapter, but the many layers that make up my life and work.

Love Lounge is an atmosphere — a room you enter — where nothing has to be earned, fixed, or figured out. It’s a place for presence, connection, and the quiet remembering that love exists in many forms: love of self, love of home, love of beauty, love of life, love of becoming.

Episodes are reflective, story-driven, and unhurried. There are no formulas, no takeaways, and no conclusions required. Some conversations land gently. Others move through shadow and tenderness. All are held with ease.
